About this Project

The Renström mine is a mine in the north of Västerbotten, in the so-called "Skelleftefield". The Renström mine is one of swedens deepest mines and also one of the richest. It is operated by the company Boliden AB. Here is mainly copper,

led, zink, silver and gold recovered. This panorama was photographed at 1206m depth in the Simon-field. In the village Renström nearby the main population works in the mine. The mine is linked underground with the close by Petiknäs mine.
