About this Project

Oscar Church was designed by architect Gustaf Hermansson and built in 1903 in neo-Gothic style with room for 1250 persons. The church has richly decorated walls with windows and decorative elements. The nave is f

lanked by arcades, borne by columns of granite. The vestry is situated in an extension immediately north of the choir. The first restoration took place in 1921-1922 under the leadership of Professor L.I. Wahlman.
