Rögrund is an island in Värmdö two miles north of Mörtö-Bunsön . It is the easternmost island of the different Nämdö Bay and Virgin Bay. In the early 1900's, purchased the island as a summer residence of Christian and Amanda Christensen (known to tie the brand Red Seal). During the 1940s, built the house out and became a semmest
eranläggning for Christensen's employees. the City bought the island in 1963 and used it as a treatment center. 1998 bought the Island of the Archipelago Foundation and is now part of the same nature reserve which Uvön. On Rögrund has a restaurant and hostel with 41 beds. The island is served during the summer of Vaxholm Company
